I think that there is no support in the 3124 driver right now. There are some stubs in the code, and it's apparently worked in the past. The SiI chipset has been supported in solaris for a while. I'd guess that the addition of PMP support in snv_122 brought to light some issues with the driver. File bugs or RFEs to have the driver fixed.
