Just an update: I (FINALLY!! :)) got my SAS controller (its an LSI 1068E-based SAS 3082E-R; an IBM ServeRAID BR10i, 8 ports, PCIe 8x) and did a vdbench test with the same ssd.
Well, the results are... awesome! The same parameters were used (and the same hw, except the controller, of course :)) as with the align2-cyl8-out-zfs.txt file from above. The IOPS went from ~14300 to ~39500, and 4k random transfer rate from ~55MB/sec to ~154 MB/sec. Here is the output: www.orl.szote.u-szeged.hu/ ~attila/ align2z-sas-out. txt (remove spaces!)
