Maybe a howto or similar document would provide more information. XDMCP is
somewhat of a mystery to me when it comes to Linux, so I would like to know
more about it in order to remote administer Linux servers from Linux
machines.
Using a product called X-Win32 (an X server for Windows) on Windows95/NT
shows me that the broadcast method:
* CHOOSER BROADCAST
in /etc/X11/kdm/Xaccess is working because I am able to see and login to all
Linux servers from the XDM chooser provided by X-Win32; therefore, the Linux
servers are configured properly to use XDMCP. Now, how do I bring up the
chooser on a Linux machine? Surely this is an easy task, but i have never
done this before.
