Hello:

I haven't used Storm for a few months - that's why I'm so fuzzy on the
details.  If I remember correctly (please don't quote me on this!) the
problem was that a program couldn't start an X session as root if the
xauthority var wasn't set properly.  The catch-22 was that SAS utils had to
be run a root.  I don't know if this is necessary, but it WILL work if you:

Open a shell window.
Set XAUTHORITY properly.
Run SAS _from the shell window_ by typing 'sas' (again, I think that's the
command).

After first being really impressed with Storm (that was the first time I
had ever been able to get X working at above 640x480 res) I was really
disappointed to find this bug - and then Storm's ignoring my notes about
it.  It's almost unforgivable that this has been a problem for so long.
