Create a file in your home directory called .xsession. In this file place
the command: startkde  nothing else. Save the file and type startx at the
prompt again. You'll start KDE 2.0.1.

There seem to be some issues with Docs for KDE 2 even though I have all the
docs installed, some apps' help does not work for some reason.
