Lanny,
If you make stove for your self, it does not problem. However, If you sell
the stoves to others, like I do here, it is another matter.

LH- Less is more -"if it works"-.why have unnecessary parts?
Do you have any unnecessary parts on your stove?

How many stoves have you already sold and let us know how do the users
response?

LH- I have been designing and prototyping stoves for quiet a while. I am mostly interested in natural draft burner designs. I have not tried to marked a household size stove because the price needs to be so low it would take mass production like you are doing. I do have a commercial duty wood or charcoal fired stove that heats a 40 quart pot. I hope to have a video in a month or so.
From what I could see which is not a lot, it looked like your natural draft
stove had better airflow for secondary combustion, than the other ND stoves which I have not seen that well.

I hope you succeed,
Lanny

Kind regards
M. Nurhuda

Otto,
Less is more, keep it simple, if it works why have unnecessary parts?
Lanny

  Dear Lanny,
Normaly, a ND gasifier have no air controls, doors, ports etc.

The only opening is at the top of the fuel chamber and the channels
between the inner and outer cylinder, which are fixed.

Just fill up the inner chamber and lit from the top and everything is
just NICE.

  Have a nice weekend.

  Otto

Design challenges for biomass fired appliances.
Affordability, functionality, and durability are just a few challenges.
Another design challenge for stoves is the various openings and how to
close them.
Openings and closures are used for, combustion air controls, doors, fuel
hatches and ports, for ash removal, and for exhaust outlets.
Openings and closures that are affordable, practical, rugged, durable
and easy to use could be useful for many different stove designs.
The stove body is the easy part. It is the openings and closures that
can be a problem.
