I'm Andy Driscoll. Native St. Paul - 5 generations deep here on both sides.
Graduate: St. Luke's Parochial; Central High School; Metropolitan State
University (BA-Communications/Political Science); Humphrey Institute for
Public Affairs; Brown Institute of Broadcasting; University of MN (MA
candidate, Creative Writing/Public Affairs/Humanities).

45 years in broadcasting/broadcast and print journalism/free-lance writer &
graphic designer/consulting; 50 years in public policy, public service,
grassroots political action, and the arts (visual and performing).

Candidate for St. Paul City Council twice; for Detroit City Council once.
Former St. Paul Charter Commissioner, Human Rights Commissioner, Chair of
Ramsey County Human Services Advisory Board.

Present or past president and/or board member of community service, health
care advocacy, campaign and electoral reform, urban governance, education
reform, anti-GSE, anti-public financing for stadia, anti-TIF,
pro-living-wage and anti-billboard organizations - among others.

Reside back in my home neighborhood - Crocus Hill with spouse, Cyndy Crist,
an executive with MN State Colleges & Universities. Father of three (very)
adult children (son turned 40 last Tuesday) and grandfather of two and a
half, a girl, a boy and an embryo. Spent 10 years in Detroit public and
commercial broadcasting and politics and public service organizations.

The rest I'll save for my political history of St. Paul. :-)
