Thanks to the article in the Press this morning, we know have a firm grip on who it is that wants the Stadium in DT.... SURPRIZE it's not the Representative for Ward 2.
I suggest those that do not want to fund a stadium you make calls and send your letters to Bostrom, Harris and Montgomery and let your voice be heard. Unlike Chris Coleman (our former Ward 2 member) I don't think they are feigning interest.
Ask them some good questions like are they willing to give up their council pay to pay for it? Or maybe they would like to pay a tax the products they purchase no matter where they do it? I am sure you can come up with some good idea's on what to ask them what THEY will pay for this thing.
Let the Mayor try to Veto the thing, doesn't mean a hill of beans if he does, cause he still has to come back to the Council (should the legislature even approve his idea and give him the green light) again, and well seems like the council MAJORITY is against the plan so it still isn't gonna fly.
