We bus riders did not create this strike.

This strike was forced by Pawlenty and the
Republicans who control state government. They were
the aggressors at every step of the negotiations.

If the union was striking for big wage increases I
would take a different attitude toward the strike.
This strike is about how much the workers will lose,
not how much they will gain.

After the strike is over the Republicans will cut
transit even more. The Rich Taxpayers League dominates
the Republican party in Minnesota.

Only union members can vote on contracts and strike
votes.

Bus riders did not choose this battle. We can't
stop the battle either. But the battle is here.

   We should support the union.

The union is willing to negotiate. The union is
willing to settle the strike by binding arbitration.
The Met Council's position is take it or leave it.
