The Palewenty admn. and Metro Council I am sure have in their mind that the strike will last at least a week or two after April 1st, so the drivers will have to pay the full cost of medical insurance and by doing that what ever they get in the new contract is lost forever in that cost and lost wages. Good Republican planning. They have used it before and will continue to use it.
