In your opinion Steve. There is no proof of this
whatsoever. The current train of thought is that same
sex attraction may be the result of a combination of
biology and environment, but there is no proof of this
either.

Your blanket statement does not hold. There are quite
a few people, male and female who have rejected
homosexual life styles and behaviors and are leading
quite happy lives; one such man testified before the
House Judicial Committee last week.

And if the "role models" that Hollywood are rolling
out these days are any measure, it seems that sexual
preferance changes day to day (depending on the
weather or perhaps a perceived lack of publicity).

This is your opinion based on nothing. If you expect
to recieve a measured, logical response you must
provide a measured, logical position. I've pointed out
the undisputable fact that all adults in Minnesota
have the same rights to marry, subject to the same
prohibitions without regard to race, gender, national
origin (you know, things over which people have no
control); this is where you make a counter arguement.

I'm not "spewing" anything my friend. I'm stating
opinions and making arguements. As I've pointed out,
there is no consensus on how someone comes to be
attracted sexually to the same sex, but whether
someone acts upon those feelings is completely a
matter of choice; that is a fact.

Are you serious? You are comparing human beings to
horses? What about gold fish? Or ducks? And now in
addition to bigotry I stand accused of
what...*specieism*? YOW!

Again, you are making a statement that has no basis in
fact. There is no consensus on the percentage of the
population that is attracted to the same sex (indeed
today the number seems quite fluid), there are no
reliable studies and even most *rational* proponants
of homosexuality do not make any such claim. So you
say 10%, I say 1%; who is right? Now prove it.

> I agree--let's get back to the Bible.

Agree with whom? I never, ever said anything about the
Bible. Now you are arbitrarilly interjecting
information for which you, nor I have made any base
arguement. But by all means continue...

  I especially

What any of that has to do with homosexuality or even
remotely advances your arguement (I'm sure there is
one in there somewhere) eludes me...as with so much of
the pro-homosexual arguement.

Who needs logic when you got a flashy flag to wave
around right?

Perhaps next time you'd care to address the points
I've made earlier Steve, but really, take your time.
