Last Chance to Offer Input On New Chief of Police!

May 3rd at Harding High * May 4th at Humboldt High
Info: http://www.e-democracy.org/stpaul/chief.html
--------------------------------------------------

Time is running out for the public to provide input on what they would like to see in a new chief of police. I've been a little surprised about the lack of discussion in this forum on this very important topic!

Final Public Forums:

     May 3rd at Harding High - 6:30 - 9:00
     May 4th at Humboldt High - 6:00 - 8:30

                     QUESTION:
-------------------------------------------------

What special skills and/or qualities would you like to see in our new chief of police?

What if anything do you know about the candidates that are being considered?

Will someone in the forum volunteer to collect all comments posted here and forward them to the committee?

NOTE:

A list member suggested using the header in our forum to remind citizens that time is running out to offer input on the next chief of police!

I think its a great idea and have done so. I couldn't find a web site with the information, so I created one at the E-Democracy site. If there is a better place to send folks, please let me know.

I'll leave this header up until next Wednesday (if there are no objections).

Best wishes,
