They didn't used to in Dinkytown either. But I just got a ticket for
that just the other week. I imagine with budgets going down,
enforcement on parking violations (and other ticketable crimes) will be
more strictly enforced.
I could go on about how this burden is felt most acutely by the poor
and all that. (Anyone remember when the lawyers would park in the
metered spots DT Mpls because the ticket was cheaper than the parking
ramps?)
But I'll just make casual mention instead of ranting. :)
