And if you want to know what is going to happen in St Paul just look at the
trendsetter across the river.  Back when the Mall of America opened
Minneapolis downtown business were so scared of the competition the
initiated the HOLIDAZZLE Parade and there was a great deal of talk about
free meter time or at least reducing the enforcement times.

But then there were Twins World Series victories and the Superbowl and
suddenly we got meters enforced not only unitl 6 PM but until 10 PM and not
only on Saturdays but DAILY!  Greed got the better of avarice and the City
Council trumped the Chamber of Commerce!
