As long as it is secret, it can never be fair.
E-Democracy is anything but secretive. I set up a forum specifically for the public discussion of list management, rules, or anything else that people want to talk about. In the past, I frequently published the address - I haven't much in recent past.
Anyone should at anytime feel free to publicize this list and encourage people who are interested in "rules" or "administrative" discussions to go there. I promise that I'll be there responding to comments and taking input. We are a volunteer organization and rely on volunteers to make everything work. If anyone would like to take on the role of actively promoting and facilitating a "rules" list, the job is theirs.

E-Democracy has worked very hard for over a year, to collect public input and opinion on the new rules. Public feedback has dramatically affected the way the rules look and continues to impact it.
Everyone who works with me knows, that I am always willing to meet with and provide information to anyone who asks (unless it is private info).
The new E-Democracy rules and emerging St. Paul E-Democracy chapter charter will greatly increase the transparency of our organization and involve more people in its operation.
