Let's try something a little different.

Keeping in mind that our list is probably not representative of the city as a whole, I'd like to ask as many people as possible to post their opinion on the following question - with a brief explanation.

I understand that the question is overly simplistic, in that no dollar figure is attached. But, we'll assume for the sake of argument that this will require a substantial investment by local tax payers.

=================================================
            Vote:      YES  or   NO
-------------------------------------------------

1) Based on what you know today, would you like to see a light rail system built in St. Paul ALONG - University Ave. (similar to the Hiawatha corridor system)?

              YES     or      NO

Optional: short explanation of vote (or caveat).
          150 words or less

-------------------------------------------------
NOTE: I'll compile all the replies and share them
with the group - IF they include a YES or NO vote
and IF they keep their explanation to less than
150 words.

You may send your votes to me in private and I'll
add them to the public list. So you don't have to
waste a post. All votes and explanations must be
signed.
