<I am posting this on behalf of Kazoua Kong-Thao with the State of MN and
also the St. Paul School Board. Thanks. -- Anne Carroll>

Dear colleagues and friends,

Nyob Zoo!! We are very excited to announce the 3rd Annual Hmong Resource
Fair on Saturday, September 25, 2004 from 10-2pm at Arlington Sr. High
School in St. Paul.

We would like to personally invite you and others to join us on this day. As
many of you know we have held the last two fairs in May but since last
year's announcement of the new Hmong refugees from Wat Tham Krabok,
Thailand, we have decided to postpone this event until September. This year
event will focus more on the service delivery and resources for the new
refugees, their host families and other providers.

There are many great opportunities for you and/or your organization to
participate in this year's Hmong Resource Fair. The opportunities are as
follows:

Co-Sponsorship Opportunity:

If you or your organization are interested in being a co-sponsor of this
great event please contact Kazoua Kong-Thao at 651-215-1278 or
[EMAIL PROTECTED], for sponsorship materials.

Booth Vendors:

If you or your organization are interested in having a booth at this event,
please contact Kazoua Kong-Thao ($50.00 for non-profit/government and
$100.00 for-profit/private)

Volunteer Opportunities:

With the targeted new refugees we are looking for some Hmong speaking
volunteers to assist the new families at this fair. We also are looking for
volunteers (don't need to be bilingual) to assist with set-up, clean-up,
children's activities booth, directions, etc. If you or someone you know are
interested in assisting us on Sept. 25th, please contact Kin Vang, Volunteer
Coordinator. Her contact information is: phone: 651-556-6613 or
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Community Participation:

Contact Kazoua Kong-Thao for e-copies of an announcement flyer to share with
your networks. This event is open and free to the public.

NOTE: the translated Hmong flyer will be available soon. We plan to market
the resource fair in the Hmong/Asian media (newspapers and radios) and other
community avenues (stores, churches, non-profits, etc.). We'll also be doing
a press release within the next week or so.

We hope you all will be able to join us on Saturday, Sept. 25 from 10-2pm at
Arlington High School in St. Paul. Also, please feel free to share this
email with others.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Kazoua Kong-Thao at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] or at 651-215-1278 or Mo Chang at
