Let the market decide, not fascist regulations.

Hi Dennis,

It's not good to tease Tim. Be nice.

Its interesting the number of people who start citing freedom of choice and market forces with this issue. I read it from a County Commissioner in today's paper. And I wondered how stupid he thought we were.

Yes, you and I can choose to go where we want. And I suspect the educational process going on will have impact as most of us are non smokers and most of us know second hand smoke is bad for us, and the more we become aware of choices that are good, the more I suspect we will start making those choices. In any case I still support the proposals as I think it better for most of us. But that's neither here nor there. Its the employees who are left without choices and need the protection. (And if I use that fact to further one of my causes, and I do, it still doesn't change that fact) I'm not sure why this doesn't come under some State / Federal OSHA regulations ( some more f****** regulations?). I suspect it was some form of cowardice in the past. Correctable in this manner I suppose.
