D Tester,
Are you sure you're not thinking of Rep. Gary Laidig downstairs in Men's?
You know, many a bodhisattva has come out of Women's Lingerie, so don't
knock it 'til you've tried it, please. It must really bug you that
commoners like Lech Walesa and Vaclav Havel and Benjamin Franklin became so
famous. How annoyingly "regular" they must seem to a man of such import
like yourself!
Betty McCollum has come to our little neighborhood annual meetings (as have
Ortega, Haig, and others who care) while the St. Paul mayors NEVER have.
To the last meeting Lascivius Lecherus sent that very nice, handsome man
from City Hall who didn't know sh!t about our neighborhood.

PS I was Voter #18 at 11:30, followed quickly by #s 19-21. I felt the
judges should've asked for my ID - any Tom Ridge, Dick Cheney, or Harry
Reid could have taken the ballots of all my neighbors who aren't voting
today and no one would ever know...

Which is ...
Betty's lucky she's a democrat in a safe seat because she hasn't done
diddly squat for this district. I suppose it's as much as could be
expected, since her last job was clerking at Dayton's. She's just going to
float through the rest of her political life, living large on congressional
pay and occasionally giving the standard partisan speech just to remind her
supporters that she's still in D.C. What a pathetic replacement for Bruce
Vento.
