I'd like to point out this is a challenge shared by community councils, "As
our neighborhood demographics change, how do we reach out to, support, AND
INCLUDE the multicultural residents we represent?" Community council
organizers and board members are welcome to come listen with us as we take this first
"baby step" toward strengthening the parent-school-community connections.

I'd also like to point out that I think the map at
_http://www.ci.stpaul.mn.us/maps/citymap2.html_
(http://www.ci.stpaul.mn.us/maps/citymap2.html)
should provide a Community Councils link directly from the neighborhood maps
in the same way it does Wards. As a resident, I'm more likely to recognize
my community council by neighborhood name than I am to know my Ward number!
