It is clear, that the busway project was only postponed due to budget shortages - it was never canceled. So the concern that this issue will come up again, is well founded (with or without the restriping of W7th).
Dave Thune mentioned that the busway proposal is being revised and possibly moved off of West 7th. Maybe, it would be helpful is someone could provide more information.
Can anyone provide us with an update on the status of the BUSWAY? Is the project on "hold" or has some new timeline been established?
Is the busway project likely to come up at the legislature this year?
If you are able, please help us fill this information void and hopefully put to rest the rumors and speculation.
