Here is another local race that normally slides under the radar screen. Does anyone have any advice or endorsements in the Ramsey County Soil and Water Conservation races?

Does anyone even know what these folks do?

'Dirt Boards' known to few

"Sandwiched between the high-profile presidential races and the oft-forgotten judicial races, contests for Soil and Water Conservation District supervisor attract few candidates and even less attention.

Some candidates may welcome the relative anonymity.

Few Ramsey County voters, for instance, are likely to know that District 3 challenger Jill Wilkinson pledges to bring fiscal responsibility to the county conservation board. Fewer still are likely to know that weeks after launching her campaign, the former state treasurer for the Libertarian Party admitted taking $10,000 from party coffers."
