What's On Your Ballot? Find out...... http://www.e-democracy.org/myballot/ -----------------------------------------
In my neighborhood, the Soil & Water Conservation Board of Supervisors has been particularly helpful. This is in large part to the assistance and influence of our area's supervisor MARJ EBENSTEINER who is on the ballot for re-election on Tuesday. Marj Ebensteiner has been instrumental in focusing the board's attention on several critical projects in Saint Paul. Just this fall, the Board authorized and organized the creation of a rainwater remediation garden on the westside of Lake Phalen. Before proceeding with the project, the visited with the District 2 and 5 community councils, and the Friends of Lake Phalen to gain support and ideas to make the project better. They are helping neighbors in the Hillcrest Village area make plans for the new park in that area, Hillcrest Knoll. Marj Ebensteiner's efforts and those of the Board haven't just been aimed at one area of Saint Paul, however. They have also aided the City of Saint Paul with projects near Lake Como and at Watergate Marina. Take a look at their accomplishments on the district's official website www.RAMSEYCONSERVATION.org. The Soil and Water Board is an important office that really impact neighbors at the grassroots level (pun intended). So slog out to the polls on Tuesday and "cast" you ballot for Marj Ebensteiner for re-election to the Ramsey Soil and Water Board!
