We are students at Macalester College and as part of our Political Geography: Spaces of Citizenship course we are developing an on-line discussion regarding the present and future situation of light rail transit in St. Paul and Minneapolis.
Thanks to this group of students at Macalester, we are launching a new online "SPACE FOR CITIZENSHIP" in St. Paul. Its a new list called:
St. Paul Topics
We hope to use this space exclusively for 1-2 week focused discussion on topics of interest to our community. This will be an alteranative way of participating in St. Paul E-Democracy, in addition to the regular St. Paul Issues Forum.
This group of Macalester students will be inaugurating the SPACE with their one week forum on Light Rail. In the weeks to come, their classmates will be also be hosting discussions on:
Nov 1 - Light Rail Nov 15 - Revitalizing Downtown Nov 29 - Immagration, Diversity, Neighborhoods Dec 6 - Stadiums
So, support the students from Macalester while joining this new St. Paul E-Democracy "SPACE" for citizenship.
