What's On Your Ballot? Find out...... http://www.e-democracy.org/myballot/ -----------------------------------------
Voted at 10:30 this morning in Ward 1, precinct 13 (polling place at St. John's Episcopal @ Kent & Holly). Morning rush was over but there was a constant stream of voters. No big lines but about 25 or 30 people there. Moveon had set up a table on a front yard on NW corner of Kent & Holly well beyond the 100 ft. boundary. I noticed one person with a clipboard sitting just behind the clerks signing registered voters in. I assume she was a poll watcher. Everything seemed to be handled in an efficient and friendly way. Just the way you'd hope for. DFL seemed very active in getting out the vote. I've had three door knocks in the past two days reminding me to vote and a number of phone calls. Don't remember that happening in 2000. Reports of problems elsewhere are disturbing. Heard that a machine in NY was registering votes for Bush regardless of whom the voter chose. Doesn't it seem that all the "mistakes" seem to be in favor of the Republicans?
