I voted about 12:00 at Knox Presbyterian Church in the Midway. I was in and out of the polling place in about 10 minutes - but they say they were busy all day. When I was there they had just passed 600 voters out of approximately 1400 registered voters. Keep in mind, that the only real line in the polling place was the new voter registration line, which had about 15 people in it.
Apparently, LOTS of new voters.
I was surprised to see the MOVE-ON table across the street from the polling place, with donuts and coffee. Not sure if it was for voters or volunteers. As I drove past about 5 other polling places, I saw Move-On volunteers outside of every location. This was a surprise to me, I did not know that they had planned this.
