Precinct 2-7 (Sal on West Seventh) had 826 voters as of 4:00, I'm not sure what we have registered (I think 1200 some). No lines, but all the stalls were full. 3 new registrants were filling out forms.
This is a very lefty precinct, about 90% D or so. 2 years ago, I was one of the extra judges needed for the paper ballot. I swear about half the people who voted were crying as they filled in "Mondale". Today it was more joyous.
They moved us into the gym this time, a lot more room. Also, no pictures of Jesus on the walls in the gym, which was, um, nice.
