Dave Thune, Dori Ullman, Tim Nelson, and Diane Gerth also appear in the 10 minute video. We also showed 10 minutes from an interview done with Mayor R.T. Rybak, of Minneapolis, about his involvement in the Mpls Issues Forum.
Our audience included about 25 residents of Brighton England, who showed up for a public meeting about the possible launch of a Brighton Issues Forum, based upon the E-Democracy.Org model.
As some of you know, we've been collecting stories and testimonials from E-Democracy.Org participants in preparation for this trip. The results have been inspirational. I've been extremely pleased at the number of people who have been willing to step forward and share the reasons why they participate in the forum and the outcomes that they have seen as a result of their participation.
I would like to thank all of the participants in our forum for their part in making the St. Paul Issues Forum such an energetic and stimulating center of public discussion in our community.
