I lived on 100 acres in Wisconsin for 2 years before moving back to the Como
area so I was used to seeing a lot of wildlife in the yard where I lived. We
had wild turkeys, large bears, lots of deer, fishers, woodchucks, any kind of
rodent you can imagine, eagles, owls, all kinds of birds and millions of
hummingbirds, and tons of ladybugs.

So when I moved to the Como area I figured I had pretty much seen it all.
Shortly after I moved in I looked out my front window and there was a little
pug running around my front yard. I called to it and it came to me. I called
the animal control and humane society. I also watched the papers and posted
notices. No one ever claimed it.

All I can figure is it was a wild pug. There was no markings or anything to
identify it. So I have my eye out in case there are more wild pugs wandering
the neighborhood. Strangest wildlife I've ever seen.

Oh yeah, we've had a fox wandering the neighborhood too.
