Sorry Phil, try again, its not even close to being
analogous in the broadest definition. 

Senator Moua issue are private actions, with private
money, and she took personal responsibility.

The other issue is about public employees acting in
their public role, using public tax dollars for
private gain. And, it appears that no one is taking
responsibility.

Only one is being investigated as a criminal act. 
The other one(Moua) was being resolved before the
story even broke.
