In addition to my involvement in E-Democracy, I've also been a board member for NEAT all year. NEAT is a city-wide network of parents and parent organizations working to strengthen public education in St. Paul.
We have been putting a lot of resources into getting St. Paul parents to show their support for legislative efforts to fully fund public education in St. Paul. We need everyone who cares about education in St. Paul to come to the capital on Monday for a statewide rally.
I haven't seen this much interest in a capital rally, since the outbreak of the war in Iraq. Please, consider attending. Better yet, bring your neighbors (with and without kids). For more info, signs, and information about school funding:
