Hi,
(I should probably point out in my last post that I did also call my senator and my rep about the dike and that I also called everyone else as well.)
My name is Michelle Hoffman and I've been "on the forum" for a little over a year. The forum is just a fantastic way to carry on a public discourse. This lack of discourse is my resounding call on the forum because I think it is at the root of a lot problems in this world.
Born and raised in St. Paul (slight portion of infancy in Buffalo, NY) I went to St. Paul Academy and graduated from Carleton having majored in English. Worked in publishing (West Pub), radio (Havre, MT and volunteer at KFAI), Advertising agencies and am now a freelance graphic designer and dabble a little in painting and photography. My partner Jayne (web designer) and I have 2 cats, a dog and lots of wild birds on the Mississippi flyway to feed.
We are committed to working for livability here on Concord/West Side and often have to resist the urge to throw in the towel and move to quieter IGH or MNDTA HGTS.
