I will make an educated guess using logic but not experience that it isn't only
mapquests extimated drive time that would be saved by landing corporate jets at
holman field. Only a certain number of planes can land in a given time frame
at MSP. If corporate jets are booted from holman field and forced to land at
MSP that will require more planes to circle in holding patterns waiting for
runways to clear. this is why holman is considered a reliever airport, at
least i think that is why. Because it can relieve congestion at MSP by
handling corporate traffic and some cargo traffic.
Maybe someone with more aviation in their background would like to answer this?
