AGREED... having done business in DT since 1987 with a retail establishment in the Old Town Square ( you know back when it was really a MALL WITH STORES). Anyone who thinks that DT is alive and thriving is correct only if you compare it before Stormin Norm Coleman was the mayor.
I can't believe that this TWICE dead horse of a Stadium is even being talked about again. How many times do people have to say NO NO NO... before the city finally listens and stops trying to come up with "NEW IDEAS" for a stadium in DT.
It doesn't work, it won't work, it will not benefit anyone outside the immediate stadium district. For an example just look at all the HUGE developments outside the Excel/Wells Fargo Center area. Yea those right there on the corner do well when there is an event, but no one else does.
Let this dead horse die already.
