Well, my district is a race that the RNC has targeted, since it flipped to D in '06, so a lot of money has flowed into the race, but the incumbent, Giffords has had no problems raising money. She's handily out-raised her opponent. Apparently, the best thing that the Dems can do is let their opponents get on Hardball and say really stupid things. After Michelle Bachmann's star turn channeling Joe McCarthy the other night, her opponent racked up nearly $800K in donations, enough to buy some serious TV time. His campaign has been kinda starved before that, though, but now it's projected as an even race. > > Is all the money going to Obama at the expense of regional races ? I don't know. A huge proportion of Obama's money is coming from donors giving < $200...while that's been a winning strategy nationwide, it's hard to raise that much money that way in a congressional district, for instance. -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "StrataList-OT" group.
