While I definitely follow some of your sentiments, I feel like a page has turned and heaping more scorn on the McCain campaign serves only to make liberals look worse. The republicans will have plenty of time to examine the campaign and decide what worked and what didn't. My worry is that this win was less about ideology and more about the combination of cash and marketing prowess. Republicans could definitely step things up next time around and give the campaign reigns to Michael Bay to sell the voting public on boobs and explosions, which has worked so well for other properties. My hope now is that Obama really does follow up with broad and inclusive initiatives to provide a contrast to the Neocon focus of the last eight years, and put to rest the bullshit about the country being run by a terrorist. I really don't want to rub anyone's noses in anything, and I sincerely hope that everyone is served well by the new administration. -- Michael --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "StrataList-OT" group.
