100% true, but...

The Republican problem is one of their own making. They've ratcheted up the 
rhetoric on value based issues.

It's extremely hard to watch someone like Edwards talk about family values and 
then sleep around on his cancer-stricken wife. That kind of hypocrisy just 
isn't possible without the vitrol that the republican party spews at such a 
prodigious rate.

If you spend your life saying your values are better than everyone else's, you 
deserve a kick in the nuts when it turns out that they aren't.
