Gee, I wonder if you're even remotely informed as to the tenets of Libertarianism? It is not "Republicans who can smoke dope, hire prostitutes, and pollute as much as they want, amen!" Civil Court is the only recourse available in the ideal Libertarian society because EVERYTHING is based on property rights, yet there is de minimus corercive government to enforce those rights. In a pure libertarian society it's entirely possible to sell yourself and your heirs into slavery: <http://www.strike-the-root.com/81/lg/lg2.html> What recourse do you have in a free market economy when a distant power plant pollutes your water or food source with mercury and arsenic? What recourse do you have when the bond posted by the airlines turns out to be worthless though misrepresentation, or the insurance company turns out to be over leveraged? -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "StrataList-OT" group.
