What do you mean it doesn't count? Whether it's a liberal signing the law or 
the conservative courts upholding it, you no longer have any protection from 
illegal searches by the police. What possible danger to a police officer is 
posed by a cell phone? You going to throw it at him before he shoots you? More 
likely, it gives them the opportunity to erase incriminating photos of them 
from it.
