I didn't say I agreed with his veto of the law. I said he gets a pass because 
he's a liberal. 

Some goes for the drastic changes he made to this state's environmental laws. 
He stacked the Coastal Commission with those hostile to environmental laws and 
friendly to developers. He also signed legislation that exempts public projects 
that are above a certain dollar from our environmental laws.

But, since this is a state where politics are dominated by public employee 
unions. He kisses the ass of those unions, so the liberals are willing to bite 
their tongue when he stomps on a few civil liberties or sells out to developers.
