By accident, I discovered that the "Print Size" view in Photoshop on my laptop is not actually the size a print would be. I have a 13" MacBook Pro. The screen resolution is set to maximum; 1280 X 800. A document in Photoshop that ought to be 10 inches square turns out to measure only 6 3/8 inches square on screen when viewed at "Print Size". And no, I'm not looking at it at "Actual Pixels" I *do* have it checked for ""Print Size" viewing. For the kind of work I'm doing, it's kind of important that I get to see something at "Print Size" and have the image be actually the correct size.
Another question; I keep having to go to the bottom menu selection to Show All Menu Items. Can't I have them present all the time? What have I checked or done that makes me have to first select Show All, etc before I can choose another menu item. I'd rather a two step than a three step process. Surely in both circumstances I have checked or clicked something in Photoshop thinking, "Hmmm. I wonder what this does?" -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "StrataList-OT" group.
