This is a mismatch between the PPI Photoshop is expecting to display at and the PPI the Macbook screen is at, which are not the same.
I just helped someone with this; her issue was that the type was too small top read on her new Macbook. Tinkertool <http://www.bresink.de/osx/TinkerToolSys2.html> this was the feature: "Get access to Mac OS X's experimental features for resolution-independent screen display. Enlarge screen output without reducing picture quality. (This feature is not available for Mac OS X 10.7 Lion.)" I don't know if this will actually help you, but it might get you on the right track. Also googling found this: <http://planetphotoshop.com/explaining-image-resolution-and-view-print-size.html> which is a more depressing answer because it means, I'm right, and there's no fix.
