Know the feeling...just made the trek over to the other building (down from the
third floor, across the street up to the fourth floor) to figure out why one
professor's computer suddenly wouldn't connect to the network anymore.
He'd started it up in Safe Mode ('because a directory looked funny'), and
didn't tell me that salient fact over the phone. "I restarted it and I can't
get to my L drive" (We map user's network home shares to L: on winders boxes).
