"inkscape doesn't like us" Inkscape requires something called XQuartz to run in tandem with it. I don't know the proper tech terms to describe it but if you have the latest Mac OS installed XQuartz is required to *replace* something called X11.
I don't know what the f*** that stuff is, but that's what I did and it works with no problem. Before I installed the latest OS on my laptop Inkscape worked just fine with X11 alone. I keep the icon for both XQuartz and Inkscape in the sidebar and start them both up. It IS worthwhile, Inkscape is a full service drawing app. I prefer Illustrator because I know it but I have something that only uses SVG files in Inkscape to work, so I import my files and use them there. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "StrataList-OT" group.
