By default, IPv6 in AirPort Utility is configured for local communication only. To use IPv6 for global communication, choose either native IPv6 or an IPv6-in-IPv4 tunnel configuration in AirPort Utility. Both Native and Tunnel can be set to obtain an IPv6 configuration automatically from the network, or manually by entering parameters in AirPort Utility. - Open AirPort Utility, located in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder. Select the device you’re setting up, and click Edit. Enter the password if necessary. - Click Internet, and then click Internet Options. - Choose Automatically or Manually from the Configure IPv6 pop-up menu. - Choose Native or Tunnel from the IPv6 Mode pop-up menu. - If you chose Manually from the Configure IPv6 pop-up menu, enter the IPv6 WAN address, default route, and other information you received from your service provider.
