Set up IPv6
IPv6 is an extension of the Internet Protocol (IP) designed to support better
IP addressing and security, and provide other improvements to the global
architecture of the Internet

IPV6 isn't much help on a LAN, it's not going to help if IPV4 is having
issues.. .

First step, imo is a complete factory reset of everything from the cable
connection in. Reset the cable modem, completely nuke the Airport back to
factory settings and set up your network again.

Check your connection via DSLreports once you've got the network set back up
via an ethernet-connected mac…this checks to make sure your WAN connection is
working.

Then start adding more stuff on the local network, and see what happens.

This is presuming you have a really simple home network. Cable
---Airport===all your computers.
