Because nobody has committed one yet. ;-) LVB was moved from struts-example
to the core when I had a need for it elsewhere. Scratching itches and all
that.

Is your version different from the one on Ted's Tip #1 page? If so, let us
know how (or just post it - it can't be that big :).
Otherwise, I can commit (a modified version of) Ted's class tonight.
