Yeah, this should reset when you move to a different dive. And it does. You just have to move at least THREE dives away in either direction, due to caching. And the whole feature is... not great. There has been discussion about not just showing a "picture" of the profile and zooming around, but actually porting the real profile widget that we have on the desktop. That's probably the better thing to spend time on instead of trying to make this hack less ugly.
