To add to the "weird stuff that I wouldn't usually come across and/report but did because of testing" ..

When I'm viewing a dive in portrait mode and the switch to landscape, I see two half-width dive profiles alongside each other, that operate independently.. ie, I can scroll each of them up and down. If I swipe left or right, the view corrects to show a single dive taking up full width of the screen.

Subject Re: test of Qt 6 mobile app (Android)

The panning now sort-of works, with some strange issues with it switching to a pale version intermittently and there being no way to reset short of restarting the app, as the profile view details seem to be held per dive, but not persistently. Even when zooming out fully, the viewpoint centre doesn't reset, so ends up with a weirdly positioned graph. I don't know whether it is worth fixing, at least for me, as I have never even tried zooming the profile on mobile before finding this.

Other than that, it seems to be a pretty good build, as far as I have tested. On 9 Mar 2026, at 00:00, Dirk Hohndel via subsurface <[email protected]> wrote:
The next builds to come through (should be named 6.0.5568.117) will have a fix
for the profile panning as well.

Ha. That always used to be awkward, but at least it used to work (you had to
tap and hold for a moment). But the Qt 6 port apparently broke that.

Thanks for finding that one! I'll look into it.

Latest version does have a lot of the issues fixed. A random issue found
(courtesy of fat fingers while checking for swiping) is that the profile can be
zoomed (great!) but doesn't pan (not so great.)
