bundle is that it just spawns a nearly stock copy of Squeak/EToys from
the activity script.

Well, until a week ago the journal has been non-existent, and what is there right now is a demo hack. There is work underway to renovate the etoys project saving/loading logic, that you can start the activity with a specific project, and we will make sure that when you open two etoys projects, only one copy of Squeak will actually be spawned, etc.

If this is still the case, it might take some major
monkeying to interface things.
